Do I need a gym membership?
No. In-person sessions take place at Warehouse Gym in Leicester. Online clients train wherever they are β home, hotel, gym. Equipment-free options are available.
How does online coaching work?
You get a fully custom training and nutrition plan, weekly check-ins, and direct access to me β not a PDF, not an app, not a bot. You can train from anywhere in the world.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No long contracts. If it's not working for you after the first phase, you don't continue. Simple as that.
Will I have to give up Indian food?
No β and you shouldn't. Most of my clients are South Asian. The plan is built around roti, rice, dal, curries, paneer, and the wedding/family meals you actually go to. Giving up the food you love is exactly why every previous attempt fell apart.
I'm vegetarian β does this still work?
Yes. Most of my clients are vegetarian or eat very little meat. The plan is built around what you actually eat β paneer, dal, beans, eggs, dairy, soya β not generic chicken-and-broccoli protein advice.
I work long shifts / I've got young kids β can this fit around my life?
That's exactly who I built this for. Parisha works long hours and has a sweet tooth. Rajiv trained through wedding prep. Divyesh went to the pub with his mates and still lost 37kg. The plan is built around your actual week, not an ideal one.
I've never lifted weights β is this for me?
Yes. Most of my clients hadn't picked up a weight before they started. The first phase is about teaching you how to move properly so you build confidence in the gym, not about pushing heavy numbers.
How long until I see results?
Most clients feel different in 2β3 weeks (energy, sleep, confidence) and start seeing visible change between weeks 6β8. Real, lasting fat loss is a 4β9 month conversation depending on where you're starting from. Anyone promising "10kg in 6 weeks" is selling you something that won't last.
What if I miss a week?
You miss a week. That's life. The plan adjusts. The goal isn't to be perfect β it's to be consistent enough over months that the results stick. Most coaches disappear when life pushes back. I don't.
Do I need supplements?
No. I don't sell them, I don't take a cut from any brand, and the plan works without them. Whey protein is useful if you're struggling to hit protein from food β that's it.
How is this different from a regular personal trainer?
Three things. (1) Niche β I specialise in South Asians over 30 because I am one and I've coached 100+ of them. The food advice is built around our food. (2) Lived experience β I came back to fitness after cancer and divorce. I know what starting from nothing actually feels like. (3) Direct access β when life pushes back, you can message me. No middleman.
What does the free 20-minute call actually involve?
You book the call, fill out a short form (your goal, what you've tried, your week), and we get on a video call. I ask honest questions. You ask me anything. At the end I tell you whether I think I can help. If I can't, I'll point you at someone who can. Twenty minutes. No pitch. No pressure.
